Launched at the start of COVID, SFJ is proud to announce it will be keeping the grocery store due to popular demand from our community – thank you for the support. Through leveraging our established network of quality suppliers we’re able to bring you the tasty supplies which make our food delicious so you can make home delicious.
We believe a cafe has a rare opportunity to bring like minded people together and create change in the local community if they want. Hence, we’re trying to ‘be’ the change that we want to see in the world.
Something for the locals: we change our menu every month to keep it fresh and exciting for you.
Something for the farmers: all produce is sourced locally & seasonally.
Something for the earth: Since 21st September 2020 Something for Jess has been using Recycle Me take-away cups which are 100% recyclable. This has helped us save around 2000 cups a month hitting landfill.
Something for Sydney artists: SFJ Art Gallery: Changing every 6 weeks we showcase the creatives of Sydney that we believe in. Sydney Music Fridays: playing Sydney only music on Fridays to support our sonic artists too. You can checkout the playlist here on Spotify.
Something for charity: 10% of all art proceeds go to Amnesty International to help those less fortunate than us. Learn More.
Something to bridge the gap: Here you’ll find options for meat lovers, vegetarians & vegans. 60% of the menu is vegan but we believe everyone deserves good food & ethical options + you never know… you might just go vegan love it.
Something for Regulars: Every year we organise the Chippendale Christmas Market to say thanks to our regulars & give a voice to the other Sydney creatives outside of art & music that are moving us with their work.
